Tie me up {by Agent Provocateur}

Agent Provocateur's Tie me up video is almost like high-class porn for fetishists or enthusiastic third-year film students. It was originally released to accompany a collection os sexy stilettos but who really notices what anyone is wearing on their feet when there is a platinum blonde in pasties rocking out alone to Tie me up by Erreur Fatale? This is totally hot, dark, gritty, provocative. Don't watch it if you can't take the heat.

The Lake & Stars S/S 2009

New York based lingerie brand The Lake & Stars achieves elegance without trying too hard. Using light, flowing fabrics,  and mineral tones in its designs, they seem to have captured femininity in its modern sense. The Lake & Stars’ unique designs are created to stand alone or to be worn in combination with other clothes. Their chiffon camisoles and bodysuits are perfect for wearing under low-cut sweaters or blazers as underwear that you can show off without being vulgar.

Featured in magazines such as Italian Vogue, Zink and the New York Times Style Magazine,
The Lake & Stars is becoming one of the hottest names in designer intimates and they are doing it on their own terms.

The current Spring/Summer 2009 collection features silk mesh and chiffon fabrics with antique Czech crystal accessories and satin ribbon detailing. See below for a selection of styles from this distinctive collection.

What makes you Blush?

With all the current talk of layoffs and the meltdown of the international financial system, some of us are a little more apprehensive about forking out the big bucks for our favorite designer frills than we might have been in the past. For all of you shopaholics out there who, like us, need a steady fix of sexy intimates on a regular basis, Blush lingerie is the answer to your prayers.

This Montreal-based company has been designing gorgeous, accessibly-priced lingerie for over 20 years. Their bras range from about $25 to $40 and their panties go for about $15 a pair so you can feel great in a whole new matching set for well under a hundred bucks. We can't help but notice they also have stunning campaign imagery shot by photographer Max Abadian and featuring Canadian supermodel, Zoe Duschenes.

Here is a selection of images from their new Spring/Summer 2009 collection.

La Perla Autumn/Winter 2009-10

How can anyone not love La Perla? This Italian lingerie powerhouse is back again with its Autumn/Winter 2009-10 collection that includes some of the most classically feminine lingerie out there. I always thought velvet was so early 90s but somehow they make it look like it should: a rich soft and sensual fabric.

The wintery peacock colors are just lovely and perfect for the paler skin most people have to endure throughout the colder months.

I {Heart} Max Abadian

Okay so this isn't about lingerie per se, but we needed an excuse to talk about this unbelievably talented photographer. Born in Iran, he grew up in Germany and now lives in Canada but rocking it worldwide with his outstanding vision and talent for making things beautiful.

Max Abadian shoots for magazines such as Canada's FASHION and FLARE, and has been the genius behind Blush Lingeries' phenomenal campaigns for at least the past three seasons.

OOOOoooooo...C'est chaud!

This is a lingerie-inspired editorial shot by Max Abadian with then stylist/now designer, Rad Hourani.

The padded room/lingerie/stilettos combination gives these pictures the the perfect balance between femininity and sadomasochism.  We just can't get enough.

Stay posted for more breathtaking imagery from the world's top photographers.

So Hot they Melt

Who would have suspected that a city that is literally frozen over like the ice-age for more than 5 months a year would produce one of the world's hottest swimwear brands? The answer is nobody. But we were all wrong. Montreal-based Aqua Di Lara makes the haut-est swimwsuits you've ever laid your pretty little eyes on.

Created by award-winning designer, Reyhan Sofraci, these babies will make you feel like a millionaire's mistress on a yacht in the Mediterranean no matter where you are. The best part is unlike most high fashion swim brands, Aqua Di Lara suits are actually made to swim in. All fabrics are salt water and chlorine resistant, and dry within minutes so that you can lounge in comfort poolside without that gross humid feeling that comes with a wet bathing suit.

Selected styles can be found in Canada at www.swimwearcanada.com and in the U.S. at www.swimwearboutique.com.
